Patton Park continues to grow thanks to the incredible support of our community through Push4Parks. This community-driven initiative helps fund meaningful park improvements that enhance play, accessibility, nature, and connection for all ages.

What We’ve Built Together

Through Push4Parks support, Patton Park has seen thoughtful upgrades designed to balance recreation, relaxation, and environmental stewardship:

  • Multi-Use Terrewalk Trail – A nearly one-mile, 10-foot-wide trail that winds through the park, welcoming walkers, runners, bikers, and explorers of all ages.
  • Shade Structures & Tree Plantings – Shade sails in key gathering areas and more than 200 new trees planted throughout the park, including added shade in the dog park.
  • Seating & Gathering Spaces – New benches, sway benches, SwingTables, picnic tables, pergolas, and gathering spots that invite visitors to relax and connect.
  • Fishing Piers – Accessible fishing piers along the south shoreline of Patton Pond, creating more opportunities to enjoy the water.
  • Meditative Gardens – Peaceful garden spaces featuring native landscaping, seating, and play-friendly elements that encourage reflection and discovery.
  • Concrete Games Area – Permanent outdoor cornhole and ping pong tables, bringing favorite family games into the park year-round.
  • Basketball Courts – New VersaCourt outdoor basketball courts designed for recreation, fitness, and friendly competition.
  • Roadway & Parking Improvements – Repaved roadways and expanded parking to improve access and visitor experience.
  • Wetland Restoration & Rain Gardens – Natural stormwater solutions that improve water quality, support wildlife, and add educational value to the park.
  • Additional Amenities – Bike racks, water fountains, trash receptacles, and habitat shrub plantings that enhance comfort and sustainability throughout the park.
